Clothes Show Liiiive! Yay :)

Twas seriously awsooooome!

I didn’t buy much for myself, but I did get loads of christmas presents for my friends. I did buy for me, though:
•Some face masks
•An orange houndstooth scarf
•Some Stargazer orange eyeliner (don’t get the flourescent one, it’s rubbish, the dark orange one is best), and some ‘rouge’ semi permanent hair dye (which I intend to use in the holidays).

The show itself was fantastic. I loved so many of the themes, too! There was:
Winter Waltz (v. sparkly!)
Snow Blizzard (the men were dancing as wolves!)
Modernist Neon (v. funky!)
Argentinian Tango (aka underwear! Fit guys much?!)
Kitsch Suburbia (v. cute, reminded me of ed. Scissorhands- which i love)
LA Catwalk (basically swimwear, more toplessness of the men ;) !)
Gothic Wonderland (my fave, was really into those Jacob Kimmie boots!)
Christmas Finale (slightly confused by the childcatcher from ‘chitty chitty bang bang’ but some very gorgeous party dresses).

Of course, when I say the guys were hot, I mean as in AMAZINGLY hot!
(I want one for xmas! Haha.)
Here, bambini, is the – i’m sure you will agree – solid proof! Enjoy ;)

Photos (c) Fictionary- thankyou! :)

Doctor’s, Hospital, Movies, Sleepover

On Monday I moved to a new doctor, who immediately referred me and my icky knee to hospital for an xray.

I went in on friday morning, and rested for the remainder of the day and twas rather painful.

In the evening I went to GiggleBuddy’s house for her birthday party with some other coolsome peeps. We saw My Best Friend’s Girl, twas good, starring our beloved (ahem) Dane Cook.

Then we had a sleepover, with cake/ champagne/ makeovers/ more movies. The whole shebang, really.
Twas cool :)

Now I’m at home, doing homework.
Hope you all had good weekends!
Ciao!

Smithy Halloween Party!

ciao bambini!
Happy Birthday Frank Iero, and HAPPY HALLOWE’EN! To the rest of you!
At last, my favourite day of the year has arrived! Even if my skirt didnt and I had to make one… Anywho, that aside, Twas great!

I went as Helena, in a black corset with red tutu and black skirt, adorned with red ribbons and a couple of roses, I had my hair curly and big red eyeshadow, and little black ballet pumps (until it got too cold and I put on my black deathshead moth wellies). I think I looked quite convincing. Well… I had Milnerd’s approval, so that counts for something.

The party was amazing! There was a bouncy castle, a bouncy slide and an inflatable gladiators thing… Plus a chocolate fountain and a cherryade fountain! Sooo awsome.

Then we had a sleepover, Twas coolio, and in the morning we went into the garden with the dogs and I took photos of eveyone on the bouncy castle.

When I got home, I made Happy Birthday Frank Iero cupcakes. They were awsome!

ahhhh… I love hallowe’en (:
hope you had a good one too!
ciao bambini!

J’adore le Stratty.

So today I got up at 6:45, even though it was my holiday, so that I could leave the house at 7:45 to get to Studders in time for the bus, which I caught caught with GiggleBuddy, IE-not-Y and Bazzerina. We then met up with NewAgePunk and went to get lunch.

I don’t think I have mentioned this before but in Stratford there is a little baguette shop, and the food is nice but the lad who works there is even nicer. There should be a sign in the window saying hot and yummy- and we’re not even talking about the food! Ah yes. Anyway, he wasn’t there today (boo) so we went to pizza hut instead, which was good as it was delish and only came to a fiver each.

Anyway, IE-not-Y and GiggleBuddy bought some clothes and last we went to Naquiba, (NAP, Bazzerina and my fave shop), and I saw the most gorgeous dress. I’m not really a dress person, but this was the Blacklist My Chem dress and it was half price and the last one and I LOVED IT. And at £20 instead of £40, it as a snatch. But I only had £25 left. We went to McNasty’s where we saw 3/4 moon and TheChemicalCrew, so called, and whilst my friends ate their ice creams I was in a daze, mulling over whether or not to buy said dress (the very nice shop assistant said she’d hold it till the end of the day for me), and it was going on 3:30. My conclusion: Life is short, I’d only been saving so I could buy another outfit, my friends and Mum (lol) had said I should buy it and most importantly I LOVED IT I LOVED IT I LOVED IT!

I was on a high for the rest of the day. I’m wearing it now. It looks like this.

Ennit bootifull, eh?
Ciao, bambini.

Same old, same old…

Nothing in particular has happened to me this week, which is why I have not been updating you. Golden has gone to Alicante… lucky thing, although it is most definitely skiving. She’s meant to be back tommorrow. We are doing a ‘Secret Bunny’- like a secret santa but with easter eggs instead of christmas presents. Blondie is buying for me, so it’s not really secret at all, especially as she has told me what she’s going to get me: A Lindt bunny. (Subtle hint at my wolf-like-ness.)

Anyway, I am buying for NAP. No Snickers. Who likes snickers anyway?
While I leave you to ponder this, I will discreetly sign off without you noticing… Clever, eh? Ciao, bambini.

They think it’s all over…

Well, that’s cause it is!

Sorry I’ve not posted for a couple of days, but you probably don’t care anyway and I have been very busy with the school production- The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew.

First day was alright, wasn’t brilliant but very funny all the same. 3/4 was thrown off sound and lighting crew as he broke a prop. Woops. The best bit of ad lib-ing, in my opinion, went a bit like this:
(Court scene where Bolligrew’s right- hand man, Squire Blackheart, does not turn up to take his place as magistrate so new magistrate, a man- at- arms is appointed.)
JL (Baron Bolligrew): … I’ll appoint another magistrate. Coporal, you’re a Magistrate! Siddown.
AW (Man at arms), does not notice he’s been given his cue and remains standing.
Long pause. As in, VERY long pause.
CJ (Oblong (hero)): So… Baron… How are you today?
One of those you-had-to-be-there things maybe, but even the cast laughed.

Second night better, but it’s a long play and hard work to remember all those lines, so a few prompts were needed but went well nonetheless. More ad lib-ing, went a little like:
Oblong tells of how he beat Squire Blackheart in combat as the Squire tried to steal some eggs from a peasant
CJ (Oblong): Yes, he left behind a… tangible piece of evidence. (realises he has forgotten said piece of evidence)… which I seem to have left at home today…
JL (Bolligrew): Oh yes?
(Stage crew pass forward Blackheart’s plume, aka the evidence)
CJ: Ah yes, here it is. It was in my back pocket all along- I was just sitting in the wrong position, you see…

After the play, I went home with Golden, had a sleepover, woke up, went shopping in Stratty with Golden, NAP and Blondie where we went to the magic museum, which was random, came home with Golden again, and then went to the final performance, which went pretty much perfectly, and GiggleBuddy was away so I got her lines (yay). Oh, and it was the day my parents came to watch so all was good in the neighbourhood… as NAP would say…

Comunque, ben fatto per tutti i sogetti coinvolti e ciao, bambini!

I’m the best damn cymbalist you’ll ever meet.

Our Tempest performance didn’t go too badly, we got some pretty good kinesics in there (lol).

Speaking of acting, I had Bolligrew rehearsals after school, which always prove to be… entertaining. I wore my peasant outfit, ate a creme egg and some Doritos, and danced down the school corridors followed by a cloud of smoke.

BUILDING MATERIALS!
(that’s my line).

Ciao bambini.

Movie marathon!

Happy Birthday Blondie! Although it’s not today, she had her party today. We went shopping in la Stratty, I didn’t buy anything – no,  I did actually, some strawberry sweet thingies – and then we went back to hers for a sleepover. We watched a couple of films (Flight Plan, Freaky Friday, Picnic at hanging rock) which I would tell you about but I’m not very good at film reviews. GiggleBuddy is though, check out her blog missyoaky.wordpress.com. Anyway, it was good fun. I managed not to attract any (serious) chav attention… my skills are dulled in Stratford due to a mixture of less chavs and more tourists. But still. Ciao, bambini.
