I’m updating!

(As promised!)
What an action packed week, bambini! Scrap the last blog, people do text me back. That teaches you never to jump to conclusions, hey?
So, Fri 11th was the sponsored walk, which seems so easy since D of E, although I’ve now got my shoes wet cold and dirty. And Mr. Darleck took photos. BUT, thankyou, 3/4s and CNA for putting up with me.
Sat 12th was the summer fair of the school my two sisters and mother attend/ work at. I helped make smoothies and sold cakes to small people. =D
Mon 14th! Youth Afloat! With Guides! Great fun, and also Pink+Fluffy’s last ever Guides! *sobs*. Anyway, we all went kayaking and it was well cool, innit.

Weds 16th. La Sports Day. *Oh no! (Scary music plays)* I thought I wouldn’t have to do anything, as I’d already run the 1500m, but KP dropped out of the 800m and I, good heavens, stepped in. I think I came 6th out of 8. Not too bad. Suppose. Anyway, I don’t take it that seriously, tbh, probably ’cause I don’t actually really care. Unlike Skyscraper, who spent half the day worrying about the fact that he was 0.6 seconds behind his best time. Or something.

Anywho, I promise to update you before next week, as I’m sure I’ll have much to say by Friday evening. You see, I have a (cunning) plan. But, bambini, you shall see. Ciao!

J’adore le Stratty.

So today I got up at 6:45, even though it was my holiday, so that I could leave the house at 7:45 to get to Studders in time for the bus, which I caught caught with GiggleBuddy, IE-not-Y and Bazzerina. We then met up with NewAgePunk and went to get lunch.

I don’t think I have mentioned this before but in Stratford there is a little baguette shop, and the food is nice but the lad who works there is even nicer. There should be a sign in the window saying hot and yummy- and we’re not even talking about the food! Ah yes. Anyway, he wasn’t there today (boo) so we went to pizza hut instead, which was good as it was delish and only came to a fiver each.

Anyway, IE-not-Y and GiggleBuddy bought some clothes and last we went to Naquiba, (NAP, Bazzerina and my fave shop), and I saw the most gorgeous dress. I’m not really a dress person, but this was the Blacklist My Chem dress and it was half price and the last one and I LOVED IT. And at £20 instead of £40, it as a snatch. But I only had £25 left. We went to McNasty’s where we saw 3/4 moon and TheChemicalCrew, so called, and whilst my friends ate their ice creams I was in a daze, mulling over whether or not to buy said dress (the very nice shop assistant said she’d hold it till the end of the day for me), and it was going on 3:30. My conclusion: Life is short, I’d only been saving so I could buy another outfit, my friends and Mum (lol) had said I should buy it and most importantly I LOVED IT I LOVED IT I LOVED IT!

I was on a high for the rest of the day. I’m wearing it now. It looks like this.

Ennit bootifull, eh?
Ciao, bambini.

They think it’s all over…

Well, that’s cause it is!

Sorry I’ve not posted for a couple of days, but you probably don’t care anyway and I have been very busy with the school production- The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew.

First day was alright, wasn’t brilliant but very funny all the same. 3/4 was thrown off sound and lighting crew as he broke a prop. Woops. The best bit of ad lib-ing, in my opinion, went a bit like this:
(Court scene where Bolligrew’s right- hand man, Squire Blackheart, does not turn up to take his place as magistrate so new magistrate, a man- at- arms is appointed.)
JL (Baron Bolligrew): … I’ll appoint another magistrate. Coporal, you’re a Magistrate! Siddown.
AW (Man at arms), does not notice he’s been given his cue and remains standing.
Long pause. As in, VERY long pause.
CJ (Oblong (hero)): So… Baron… How are you today?
One of those you-had-to-be-there things maybe, but even the cast laughed.

Second night better, but it’s a long play and hard work to remember all those lines, so a few prompts were needed but went well nonetheless. More ad lib-ing, went a little like:
Oblong tells of how he beat Squire Blackheart in combat as the Squire tried to steal some eggs from a peasant
CJ (Oblong): Yes, he left behind a… tangible piece of evidence. (realises he has forgotten said piece of evidence)… which I seem to have left at home today…
JL (Bolligrew): Oh yes?
(Stage crew pass forward Blackheart’s plume, aka the evidence)
CJ: Ah yes, here it is. It was in my back pocket all along- I was just sitting in the wrong position, you see…

After the play, I went home with Golden, had a sleepover, woke up, went shopping in Stratty with Golden, NAP and Blondie where we went to the magic museum, which was random, came home with Golden again, and then went to the final performance, which went pretty much perfectly, and GiggleBuddy was away so I got her lines (yay). Oh, and it was the day my parents came to watch so all was good in the neighbourhood… as NAP would say…

Comunque, ben fatto per tutti i sogetti coinvolti e ciao, bambini!

I’m the best damn cymbalist you’ll ever meet.

Our Tempest performance didn’t go too badly, we got some pretty good kinesics in there (lol).

Speaking of acting, I had Bolligrew rehearsals after school, which always prove to be… entertaining. I wore my peasant outfit, ate a creme egg and some Doritos, and danced down the school corridors followed by a cloud of smoke.

BUILDING MATERIALS!
(that’s my line).

Ciao bambini.

Eek. Sorry, I just find that rather appropriate.

Aaaah! Hamster escape! Cyrano CHEWED A HOLE in his cage last night, and ran through to BB’s room where Roxanne lives. Oh dear. Speaking of oh dears, it was the UK Maths Challenge today. I don’t think I did very well. And speaking of maths, it was my Maths calculator paper. I did really, really badly. I didn’t even finish. I still had eight sides to go! What made it worse was the fact that Golden came out and said, “well, that was easy”. Thanks, mate.

Um, I think I may have upset 3/4 moon. I was in the library after school today and he asked to borrow my headphones. I said no so he tried to take them off me, so CockyNA and his mates Stirrer and TC kinda had a go at him. By the way, It was CockyNA’s birthday to day (Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you… etc., etc.) But anyway so Blondie, HH, NewAgePunk, 3/4 moon, Golden, FS, CockyNA, Stirrer, TC and me probably constituted the highest population the library has ever seen after school, I’m usually the only one.

Errr, that’s about it. Keep it cool!

The joys and trials of size 3 feet.

Firstly, I need to correct something from my last entry. You can see on my last post that Golden pointed out that I have, through strange wording, made a mistake in that it seems I let SkyScraper kiss my foot. Believe me, this is NOT what happened, because that would be wierd beyond even my level of wierdness. Also, I hate my feet as they are strangely small for the average girl of my age. My size three school shoes, which I had to have specially ordered in for me, even with insoles are too big. One even fell off in the tuck shop the other day when someone pushed me and I lost it- and that was embarrasing, let me tell you! And that’s not to mention the fact 3/4 moon pulled a table over it the other day when he “didn’t notice it!” How rude. So anyway, SkyScraper kissed me, not my foot… which would be me anyway but oh well.

So today I’ve been rather proud of myself, because we marked our practice SATs papers- boring, most would think, but I have LOTS of VERY clever friends, who I can easily say outshine me in probably all subjects, but maths in particular. BUT! Today I found out I ‘beat’ them on the maths papers! Cool, eh? Anyway, I was rather proud of myself… not that I gloated or anything *wink*! Something else cool happened to me today. I GOT PUNCHED BY THE MOON! How many people can say that thy’ve been punched by the moon? Well, except it was just NAP doing her moon impression from the Mighty Boosh, but still. By the way, NAP stands for New Age Punk, because I’ve decided from now on I’m going to give everyone code names. Not for their own protection, but ’cause that’s cool.

Am very tired at the mo because I couldn’t get to sleep last night. We’ve bought Cyrano, the hamster (geddit?… oh well) a new, mind- stimulating, interesting, colourful and contemporary cage, which he loves, but has decided his new favourite pastime is to chew at the windows… Very, very loudly. I was actually quite surprised at how noisy it can be! Anyway, I’d better go feed him! As they say in our neck of the woods, Like, lay-ta baaaabes!
