C- Day

Short for Clitherow day, because it is a whole year since I moved forms. We celebrated by having a cracker eating practice. Blondie wrote me a wonderful poem which goes a little like this:

One year ago this week
A new form to join you seeked,
Now which one should I choose?
Did you quietly muse,
I’m leaving Fisher house
As quietly as a mouse,

And Becket I think, I might choose
But in competitions they always lose!
So Moore I suppose it may turn out to be
But they’re tall, I’m small and could not possibly see!

So Clitherow is the only one left
This, you thought, must be the best
I’m afraid that you were right
You chose wisely in your plight

And now you are having a great time
So I guess this is the end to my very terry rhyme!

Well done, Blondie. You are clearly a great literate in the making.
Are you in any way related to Shakespeare?
Should we now call you Shakespearette?
Could you be the next big thing in poetry?
Will Danny ever give me my tennis ball back?

Tune in next week to find out the answer to these questions!
A short preview: the answer is no.
